Simulated
Banking Environment

The Learn2Bank.net software emulates a banking environment providing real time, networked core banking transaction processing.
Customizable
The bank itself can be customized to your needs. You can include your own colors and logos and change labelling and terminology to align with your institutional needs. For example, some institutions use Demand Cheques while others use the term Banker's Cheque. Some use the term loan while others use Credit Product.
Particular domestic currencies come in a variety of denominations. Some currencies, like the Qatari Riyal, do not have QR20.00 notes. The College of the North Atlantic-Qatar (see testimonials) Learn2Bank.net system is customized so that QR20.00 notes do not appear in the Teller Cash Box dropdown lists.
If you have particular currency issues, for example, we will accommodate you. These issues and more are non issues with Learn2Bank.net.
Instructor
Module
The system includes an instructor administration area where the instructor can manipulate variables that impact various banking scenarios. For example, the instructor could change exchange rates during class time to point out how this might affect a customer’s account.
An instructor can manipulate a student’s role within the system in that students can act as tellers, head tellers, customer service agents or loans officers. In general, the Instructor acts as Head Teller but as students progress, they can move into this role.
Instructor can create formative, multiple-choice, system graded assessments using a quiz module. The system will grade the student’s response and offer immediate feedback on incorrect choices.
Instructors can create classes and track student progress with system generated
statistics.
Customer
Service Module
Students, acting as bank employees, can add and update customers, create and update bank accounts, credit cards, print cheques, process loan applications and deal with customer issues or complaints. The system includes a real time Live Customer Service chat module where students can interact with other students or instructors solving customer service issues.
Online
Banking
Module
Customers can log in and perform online banking transactions like bill payments, credit card and loan payments, money transfers and access Live Customer Service.
Also, customers can view account summaries and banking transactions searchable by date.
This module looks and behaves like online banking offered by most retail banks. Great for teaching young students how to perform online transactions.
Administration
Module
The bank administrators can set most global variables, add new banks and branches (used for fund transfers and cheques), set the default currency, add payees (companies to which bank customers can make payments), add account types like Super Saver, Current, Chequeing, etc.,
Add loan types like Auto, Dream Home, Education, etc. Most account and loan types are in the system by default but they can be edited by the bank administrator.
Security
Module
Secure logins for students (employees), Instructors and Administrators. Students create and maintain their own login accounts. Forgotten passwords are automatically emailed to the forgetful users.
The system security depends on the role of the user: Administrator, Student, Instructor, etc. Each user has a personalized 'view' of the system.
